오늘 수업에서 "There is / There are" 배웠다. 진짜 기초 중의 기초라고 해서 살짝 만만하게 봤는데, 막상 선생님이 "방에 뭐가 있어요? There is/are 문장에서 there는 장소를 가리키는 게 아니라, 그냥 "~이 있다"는 문장을 시작하기 위한 형식적인 주어라고 하셨다. 실제 장소는 뒤에 따로 나온다고.
